My work is very visceral and tactile, lying somewhere between painting and sculpture.

Subjects of my work are varied, from Greek and Roman mythology, to dragonflies, butterflies, botanical studies, organic and geometric abstracts. Regardless of subject, my work is always allegorical. 

The underlying aim of all of my work is the study and manipulation of light, colour and texture through mixed media,  to evoke personal emotion in the audience.

To me, abstraction is a pure form, allowing each viewer to interpret the piece from their own unique perspective.

I work instinctively when creating a new piece, working with the fluid texture and mediums to guide them, but also to allow their natural flow, meaning no two pieces are the same.
